Here at Alex Wilkins Blacksmiths we aim to produce the highest quality hand forged, English iron work at competetive prices.  We make all of our products at our forge in Herefordshire using traditional and modern techniques combined.

 Our products generally go from the anvil direct to the client, however we do hold most of our range in stock.  Please be aware that everything we do is hand made and does take time. 

Alex Wilkins Blacksmiths is our family blacksmiths business, established in 1993,  working out of a traditional forge located in rural Herefordshire.

We are a father and son partnership, Alex and Floyd, we work together making ironwork for architectural and garden uses mainly; window and door furniture, curtain poles, fireplaces, gates and railings, however we welcome any commisions and we enjoy bringing to life a clients idea! 
Included in our ranges are hooks for the home and garden.  Customers have continued over the years to fall in-love with our trademark range of products that have been purchased and sent all over the world. 

Our family has been in the blacksmithing industry for over a century now and we take great pride in following in their footsteps, re-creating some of the items they would have been making all those years ago. 

Our Workshop is based between Hereford and Worcester and is about 8 miles from Ledbury, we are open from 8.30am till 5pm Monday to Saturday, however it is best to phone before visiting.

We work using a mixture of traditional and modern methods to create a wide range of handmade products for the home and garden. 

We have coke forges and gas furnaces and use them in conjunction with hand and power hammers to manipulate the steel to the desired form.
